Title

A United Kingdom Survey of Childhood Myasthenias

Description

Childhood myasthenias, including autoimmune myasthenia gravis and the congenital myasthenic syndromes are rare disorders which present to paediatric neurologists. The incidence of childhood myasthenias in the UK is unknown, their diagnosis is complex, and the evidence for best practice in their management is currently inadequate.
This study aims to establish the prevalence of childhood myasthenias and to conduct a detailed investigation of the clinical features, management and outcome of childhood myasthenias.
